Penn Cambria overcomes Cambria Heights

PATTON – Makalyn Clapper led a balanced Penn Cambria attack with 12 points as the Lady Panthers notched a 42-28 win at Cambria Heights in junior high girls basketball on Wednesday.

Heights’ Nikki McCombie scored 11.

EBENSBURG – The Bishop Guilfoyle junior high girls basketball team won the Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference for the second year a in row, beating Central Cambria, 36-25, Wednesday afternoon.

Beth Yahner led the winners with 17 points. Jenna Baver led Central Cambria with nine points.
