Season update: Zimmerman won a quad meet with Richland, Forest Hills and Windber and also finished second in the Interstate meet in Clear Spring, Md.

How I got my start in cross country: “Back in the summer of sixth grade, I started running to get in shape. My friend and I heard about signing up for cross country, and we were like, ‘let’s do it.”
