Athlete of the week achievement: Kuntz won the Gingerbread Saucony Kiski Area Cross Country Invitational overall girls race by being the only runner to break 20 minutes. She also placed first in a dual meet at Richland.

Season update: In addition to being first at Kiski, Kuntz was third at the Red, White and Blue Classic.

How I got my start in cross country: “In 2011, my mom signed me and my brothers up for Mountain Top XC and track, and it stuck ever since.”

Future goal: To win a state title and later to run at the college level
