Dillow works hard 7 days a week

Name: Noah Dillow

Athlete of the week achievement: Dillow won the long jump and triple jump at the District 5 Class 2A Track and Field Championships and also went 4-for-9 with a home run, five RBIs, four runs and two stolen bases in three baseball games.

Season update: Dillow’s top jumps are 21 feet, 5 inches in the long jump and 42-3.5 in the triple jump. In baseball, he’s 19-for-48 (.396) with two homers, four doubles, one triple, 23 RBIs and 18 runs in 15 games.

Coach Pat Isgan’s quote: “He’s just a phenomenal athlete — it doesn’t matter the sport. This spring has been crappy weather-wise, so it’s been hard to get good practices. And with him playing baseball, he’s even more limited. But he comes in after baseball, on Saturday and Sunday, and works hard. He wants to get better and takes pride in it. He exemplifies what a student-athlete should be.”
