Athlete of the week achievement: Mitchell was the MVP at the Reliance Bank Tournament. He scored a game-high 22 points in an 83-63 victory over Penn Cambria in Tyrone’s opening game, then led the Golden Eagles with 18 points in their 59-46 championship win against Bellwood-Antis.

Season update: Mitchell is averaging 15.6 points and 5.0 rebounds. He’s connecting on 45 percent of his shots from the field and shooting 80 percent at the foul line. The Golden Eagles are 6-2.
