Athlete of the week achievement: Martinazzi scored 25 points in a 59-47 victory over previously unbeaten and state-ranked Blairsville and added 26 points in a 62-43 win over Central Cambria.
Season update: Martinazzi is averaging 18 points, six rebounds and three assists per game.

Proudest athletic achievement: Winning districts two years in a row, making it to the final four in states and being named all-state in both my sophomore and junior year. Also, winning districts in the long jump and the 100- and 200-meter dash in track.
How I got my start in basketball: In first grade, I started playing because I looked up to my brother.
Future goal: “I want to win districts and a state title and go to college and pursue a career in the medical field.”
