Male Athlete of Week: McClellan’s hard work paying off
Name: Parker McClellan
Athlete of the week achievement: Won the 195-pound title this past weekend at the Panther Holiday Tournament.
Season update: McClellan is 9-0 in the early going with four of those victories by fall.
Coach Joel Gilbert’s quote: “Any time you beat a state placewinner to win a weight class in a tournament, it is an outstanding achievement. Parker is one of the hardest workers on the team.
