Athlete of the week achievement: Glass was named most valuable player of the Art Burkett Memorial Tournament, scoring 32 points and hitting a game-winning 3-point shot with 10 seconds left to lift the Lady Mustangs over Penn Cambria, 63-62, in the championship game. She had 17 points and six steals in a 79-19 victory over Northern Cambria in the opening round.

Season update: Glass is averaging 24.5 points and has made six 3-pointers. Portage is 2-0.

How I got my start in basketball: “Coach Hudak called my mom when I was in kindergarten and asked if I’d like to play, and I said, ‘Yeah.'”
