Athlete of the week achievement: Petrunak went 3-for-5 with a double and four RBIs in a 14-3 win over Windber on Tuesday, he was 2-for-2 with a double, four runs and three RBIs and pitched a five-hitter while going 2-for-3 at the plate with an RBI in a doubleheader sweep of Conemaugh Valley on Thursday, 15-0 and 16-1, he was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs in a 15-1 victory over Westmont Hilltop in the opening round of the Gene Schultz Memorial Tournament on Friday and pitched a complete-game four-hitter in a 6-2 win against Conemaugh Township in the championship game on Sunday. He was named to the all-tournament team.

Season update: He is batting .486 with 16 RBIs on three doubles and 17 hits in 41 at bats. He is 2-2 on the mound with an ERA of 3.11.
