Athlete of the week achievement: McElwain hit a solo homer in a 4-2 win over Cambria Heights on Monday, she homered, tripled and drove in a run in a 13-5 win against Juniata Valley on Tuesday, and she collected a double and three singles and knocked in three runs in a 15-5 win over Juniata Valley on Thursday.

Season update: McElwain is batting .367 with an on-base percentage of 400 and a slugging percent of .767. She had three home runs, 10 RBIs and had scored 10 runs.
