Athlete of the week achievement: Michina won the District 6 Class AA girls triple jump with a state-qualifying leap of 36 feet, 10.5 inches and also finished fourth and qualified for states with a height of 5-2 in the high jump.

Season update: Michina owns the Mirror coverage area’s top triple jump of the season and also has the second-best high jump.
