Athlete of the week achievement: Long won the 100-yard butterfly in district-record time and the 200 freestyle relay in the D6 championships. He also earned silver medals and qualified for states in the 100 backstroke and 200 medley relay.
Season update: Long swam his best times in the backstroke and butterfly at districts. He holds school records in the 200 free, 500 free, butterfly, backstroke and medley relay.
