Athlete of the week achievement: DeFay helped lead the Hollidaysburg varsity hockey team into the Laurel Mountain Hockey League championship game by recording a goal and three assists in an 8-3 win over Bishop Guilfoyle and scoring two goals in a 4-3 win over top-seeded Johnstown in the semifinals.

Season update: DeFay has scored 15 goals and recorded 14 assists for Hollidaysburg, which plays Somerset in the league championship at 7 p.m. Thursday at Penn State University’s Pegula Ice Arena.
