Athlete of the week achievement: Heidler threw a no-hitter and struck out six batters in a 5-0 victory over Blacklick Valley. She also collected four hits, drove in three runs and earned the save in a 5-4 win over Forest Hills.

Season update: Portage is 13-5 and the No. 3 seed for the upcoming District 6 Class A playoffs. Heidler has also thrown three one-hitters this year.
