Athlete of the week achievement: Morral scored 22 points in a win over Chestnut Ridge, 22 points in a victory over McConnellsburg and added 12 points in a win over previously-undefeated Southern Fulton.

Season update: Morral is averaging 12 points, 14 rebounds, two steals and one block per game for the 13-4 Lady Warriors.

Proudest athletic achievement: MVP as a freshman in the Everett Holiday Tournament. Also, finishing as a state runner-up as a 9-year-old with my travel softball team.

How I got my start in basketball: “Gary Laidig started me when I was in third grade. I also went to the Everett girls varsity games when I was little.”

Future goal: To win the District 5 Class AA title in basketball this year.
