Lady Tigers capture tournament

BOALSBURG — The Hollidaysburg girls golf team won the Penns Valley Invitational on Wednesday, finishing up with a 158 team score, two strokes ahead of second-place Philipsburg-Osceola in high school action.

Clearfield was third (168), followed by Bellefonte (171).

Hollidaysburg (11-2) was led by Megan Dinges’ 51. The Lady Mounties got a 52 from Kylie Adams.

Davis takes the lead

HOLLIDAYSBURG — Hollidaysburg, with a score of 330, improved to 6-3-1 with wins over Huntingdon (376) and Mifflin County (412).

Eric Davis medaled for Hollidaysburg with a 78. Huntingdon (14-7) was led by Andon Suchan (81).

Everett had two players compete in the match, with Dylan Taylor leading the way with a 96.
