Athlete of the week achievement: Keeper Mowry shut out both Hollidaysburg and Altoona in the Lady Lion Tournament on Saturday. She had three saves in a 1-0 win over Hollidaysburg and 11 saves in a 0-0 tie with Altoona.
Season update: Mowry also was in goal for a 6-2 win over Penn Cambria, helping Bedford get off to a 2-0-1 start.
