Tussey tops Tyrone
TYRONE — Tussey Mountain defeated Tyrone, 4-1, in a high school boys tennis match on Tuesday that was being made up from April 12.
The second half of the doubleheader was suspended with the match tied, 1-1.
Kieran Gresko and Hunter Cassatt were winners in singles action for the Titans.

D6 2A doubles final set
Richland and Juniata pairs will play for the District 6 Class 2A doubles championship on Thursday.
Richland’s Vignesh Elangovan and Tim Bodenschatz, the third seed, and fourth seed Zach Hemond and Max Lauver of Juniata advanced through the semifinals on Tuesday at Penn State Altoona and the Gorilla House Gym.
They’ll play in the final at noon Thursday at Penn State Altoona.
Elanovan and Bodenschatz beat Huntingdon’s Bruce Perow and Taran Pelky, the No. 2 seed, in the semifinals, 6-7, 7-6, 6-4. Hemond and Lauver downed top-seeded Miles Zitnay and David Assad of Westmont Hilltop in the semifinals, 6-1, 3-6, 6-3.
The Class 3A doubles tournament will be held today.
