Payne leads B-A

SAXTON — Ashtyn Payne’s big day at the plate powered Bellwood-Antis’ 15-2 six-inning victory over Tussey Mountain in high school softball Monday.

Payne collected three singles and a triple while also driving in four runs and scoring four times.

Gabriella Finn had three hits, Faith Patton had two hits, and Krystina Taylor and Jaidyn McCracken each drove in two runs.

Haley Schmidt gave up just two hits while striking out eight.
