Northern splits DH
LOYSBURG — Northern Bedford split a doubleheader with Southern Fulton in high school baseball on Thursday.
Kyler States and Evan Clouse each scored for Northern in a 2-1 victory in the first game, while Luke Wiedemann struck out six batters and got the win. Andrew Lazor had the game-winning hit.
In game two, Southern Fulton exploded at the plate for a 14-3 win.
Konner Pittman was 4-for-4 with four runs scored for Southern Fulton. Northern’s Thad Kraucz was 2-for-3 with a run scored.

FLINTON — After coming back from down 1-0 at the top of the first inning, Glendale scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth to pull out a win over Williamsburg.
Winning pitch Lance Westover tallied eight strikeouts for the Vikings, Garrett Misura scored twice, and Nick Blake drove in two runs. Williamsburg’s Josiah Dowey was 1-for-3 with one run scored.
Blacklick Valley 3
PORTAGE — Gavin Wisor had a stolen base and scored in the top of the eighth inning for the go-ahead run in an eventual Blacklick Valley win over Portage.
Connor Price had an RBI and scored one of the Mustangs’ runs, while Max Herman was 2-for-4 with Portage’s other run scored.
