Chamberlain fires one-hitter

CLAYSBURG — Corey Chamberlain threw a one-hitter with nine strikeouts in Claysburg-Kimmel’s 12-1 win over Glendale in 4¢ innings in high school baseball action on Tuesday.

Connor Oakes and Zach McCarty each drove in two runs for the Bulldogs, and Chamberlain, Oakes and Kobe Harr each had two hits.

Nick Blake’s solo home run in the second was Glendale’s only run scored.

WILLIAMSBURG — Josiah Dowey and Lambert Palmer had two RBIs each as part of a five-run third inning, but Williamsburg committed seven errors and gave up at least five runs in three innings as part of a loss to Mount Union.

Dylan Gearhart had six RBIs for the Trojans, while Kobe Hand drove in four runs.

BEDFORD — Nate Semenak doubled twice and had four RBIs for Bedford in a five-inning win against Cambria Heights.

Jesse Arnold had two RBIs for the Bisons, and Chase Cessna was 3-for-3 with one RBI and a run scored.

Seth Link and John Elias scored the two runs for the Highlanders.

Conemaugh Township 2

Portage 1

DAVIDSVILLE — Connor Adams’ single in the bottom of the seventh inning drove home Jordan Poznanski for a Conemaugh Township walk-off win over Portage.

Michael Koenigsberg had the Mustangs’ only RBI of the afternoon, scoring Jackson Kozlavac.

Devin Foster struck out 12 in the loss for the Mustangs, who fell to 5-4.
