Altoona cruised to a 9-0 win over Tyrone in high school boys tennis on Thursday at Penn State Altoona.

Jonah Brandt, Casey Rispoli, Nick Schimminger, Mike Schminniger and Tyler Robinson were all singles winners for the Lions.

Tigers hang on

INDIANA — Hollidaysburg’s Rami Alkhafaji beat Indiana’s Zach Palko, 6-4, 6-3, to help the Golden Tigers slip past Indiana, 3-2.

The teams of Brian Johnson and Jake Irwin, and Jacob Gallagher and Nathan Ferris won in doubles play for the Tigers.

EBENSBURG — Central Cambria swept doubles action in a doubleheader against Windber, earning a pair of 3-2 wins.
