Notes: Penn State lost its Big Ten opener against Maryland, 66-59. Lamar Stevens, Josh Reaves and Rasir Bolton got little help from their teammates on the offensive end against the Terrapins. Mike Watkins, who returned to the court during the upset victory against then No. 13 Virginia Tech last week, was scoreless and racked up four fouls in his 11 minutes of play. … Indiana won their Big Ten opener against Northwestern, 68-66. Freshman standout Romeo Langford leads the team with 18 points per game. The Hoosiers haven’t won an away game this season.

Mirror prediction: Penn State 77, Indiana 73

Comment: If the Lions can limit Langford, they will have a good chance at getting their first Big Ten win. Freshman Myreon Jones and/or Myles Dread will also need to be more productive.
