Hollidaysburg knocks off Central Mountain

MILL HALL — Rita Kendziora scored twice and assisted on three other Hollidaysburg goals as the Lady Tigers sandwiched Central Mountain’s two goals with three in both halves for the 6-2 win Thursday in high school girls soccer.

Paige Miller had a goal and an assist for the Lady Tigers (11-3), Natalie Despot had two goals, and Alyssa Bell had two assists.

The Lady Marauders received two goals in the second half from Gretta Levine and Fiona McConnell. Sydney Berish registered an assist on the Levine goal.

HUNTINGDON — Huntingdon received two unanswered second half goals from Sydney Sellers and Maddi DeForest to lift the Lady Bearcats past Central, 3-1.

Jacee Deline scored first at 15:07 in the first half the give Huntingdon a 1-0 lead at the half before Ashley Negley knotted the score up at 1-1 with an assist from Avery Black.
