Paddock sparks Tigers to win

HOLLIDAYSBURG — Trent Paddock scored two touchdowns, including the game-winner late in the fourth quarter, to lift Hollidaysburg over Altoona, 24-20, Monday night in junior varsity football action at Tiger Stadium.

Gage Shawley also scored for Hollidaysburg, and Bryce Martellacci had two two-point conversion runs.

Liam DeAngelis had two TD runs for Altoona.

Dylan Conrad’s 11-yard touchdown run and A.J. Kilmartin’s two-point conversion pass to Dylan Hench with 4:19 remaining in the game lifted Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic to a win over Somerset at Tom Irwin Field.

Somerset held a 6-0 lead on Ethan Hemminger’s 70-yard interception return for a touchdown in the second quarter.
