Kyle big part of BMG shutout

LILLY — Cam Kyle drove in four runs on three hits to power the Locker Room offense in a 10-0 shutout of BMG Construction Thursday evening in a Greater City League matchup.

Joe Glass got seven strikeouts for the win, combining with George Roberts for five hits allowed. Roberts and Kevin Scholly had two RBIs each as the team improved to 17-2.

Ryan Slagenweit had three hits, two singles and a double, while Schollly doubled and singled.

n Mark Saxman had three hits and drove in four runs, and was also the winning pitcher, as Blair County Oil beat Shields Trophy, 15-4, at Geesey Park.

Shawn Steffy added two hits and two RBIs for BCO (16-5) while teammate Keith Kawtosky added two RBIs.

Shields got two hits and an RBI each from Josh Smolko and Jeremy Yon.

HOLLIDAYSBURG –Hunter Friedenberger homered and had three RBIs, Adam Sinisi and Zach Tobin each batted in two more runs, and NAPA Auto Parts won its first game of the season, 8-5, over Professionals Auto Body in Hollidaysburg Area Summer Baseball 16-18 league action at Longer Field.

Sinisi and Michael Sanders each produced three hits for NAPA, and Brendon Kuhns got the win on the mound with six strikeouts.

Ian Yon drove in three runs for PAB (4-2).
