Lehner, Light help lead Tyrone Legion

Kevin Lehner drove in three runs, and Nick Light had two hits and two RBIs to lead Tyrone Legion to a 7-4 victory over Dick’s Pharmacy in a George B. Kelley Federation game at Geesey Park on Sunday.

Tyrone Legion improved its record to 8-1.

n Josh Potutschnig’s two-run single in the bottom of the sixth inning lifted Patton Legion past Sheetz, 11-10, in Patton.

Potutschnig and Cody Shreyer each had three hits for Patton, Schreyer and Seth Link each drove in two runs, and Kaleb Hilyer added two hits.

Rashadd Knorr had three hits and five RBIs for Sheetz, and Jared McCall had two hits.

n Mason Akers pitched Martin Oil past ReMax Realty, 17-2, in five innings at Geesey Park.

Ian McFarland collected two hits for Martin Oil.

Cambria Legion

JOHNSTOWN — Claysburg defeated Cernics, 12-2 and 14-1, in just a combined nine innings in Cambria County Legion play.

Claysburg’s Jonah Snowberger pitched five innings and allowed just three hits and two runs in the first game, and Jacob Eberlin went three innings and gave up two hits in the second game.

Claysburg’s hitting stats were not reported.

Altoona Teener Minor

Ethan Hileman delivered two triples and drove in three runs to help Cumming Motors knock off McMullen Furniture, 9-7, at Seitz Field in an Altoona Teener Minor game for 13-year-olds.

Hileman also pitched a scoreless seventh inning to save the game for winning pitcher Gavin Ridgeway. Brady Hibbs and Izeah Murray each had two hits for McMullen, which fell to 9-4.

Cumming improved its mark to 4-5.
