Richner powers Valley in slugfest

ALEXANDRIA — Nathan Richner belted three home runs and drove in six runs, and Juniata Valley needed all of them to squeak by visiting Tyrone, 11-10, in area high school baseball on Friday.

Quinn Zinobile had two hits for the Green Hornets. Bryce Hunter was 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBIs for Tyrone, which also got a pair of hits apiece from Andrew Pearson and Matthew Savino.
