Bishop Guilfoyle scored 11 runs in the fourth inning en route to a 15-6 win over Central Cambria at Vets Field Tuesday in high school baseball.

Michael Berish had four hits, drove in four runs and scored three times for BG (8-2). Winning pitcher John Fanelli added three hits and three RBIs, and Austin Hammerle and Dominic Georgiana each had two hits and two RBIs.

The Red Devils (3-6) got two hits and two RBIs from Nick Knopp.

PATTON — Adam Cecere homered twice and drove in seven runs as Forest Hills won the nightcap, 16-4, to complete a Laurel Highlands doubleheader sweep of Cambria Heights at Patton Stadium.

Forest Hills was an 11-1 winner in the opener, as winning pitcher Ryan Richardson struck out eight over five innings and went 2-for-4. Cecere drove in three runs for the Rangers, while Brandon Bearer accounted for two of Heights’ three hits.

Tyler Lamont knocked in two runs for the Highlanders in the second game. Jake Shope went 3-for-4 for Forest Hills, scoring four runs.

PORTAGE — Portage improved to 7-5 with a doubleheader sweep of Blacklick Valley.

In the opener, Albert Koenigsberg gave up four hits, struck out nine and did not walk a batter in a 1-0 victory. Zach Wiggins tripled and then scored on a Tommy Randazzo triple.

In the nightcap, Portage jumped out to an 8-1 lead after three in a 17-2 victory. Wiggins had three hits and five RBIs to go with two hits and four RBIs from Randazzo. Luke Chobany and Jacob Irvin both had two hits and two RBIs.

PHILIPSBURG — Isaiah Dixon’s pinch single with one out in the bottom of the seventh drove in the tying and winning runs as Philipsburg-Osceola took the first game, 6-5, in a doubleheader sweep of Tyrone.

Landon McDonald, Keegan Soltis, Josh Earnest and Trey Shaw each had two hits for P-O, which entered the seventh down 5-2. Tyrone’s Kevin Lehner was 3-for-4 with a double and a triple.

The Mounties were a 7-3 victor in the second game. Dixon paved P-O’s way again, hitting a homer and a double and driving in three runs. Ryan Kephart also homered for the Mounties, and Ryan Whitehead scattered eight hits while pitching a complete game.

Andrew Pearson tripled twice for Tyrone, while Cory Lehman and Matthew Savino had two hits each.

WILLIAMSBURG — Williamsburg swept a doubleheader with Glendale, 7-1 in the opener and 13-0 in five innings in the nightcap.

Jared McCall led Williamsburg in the first game as he knocked in four runs on two hits, Drew Hileman tallied two hits and two runs, Shane Brantner registered two hits, and Nick Michelone scored three times.

In the second game, Jared McCall went 4-for-4 with three runs and three RBIs, while Wes McCall drove home four runs on two hits for the Blue Pirates.

Josiah Dowey also collected four hits and scored three times, Hileman had three hits, and Rashadd Knorr added three runs and two hits.
