NEW PARIS — Chestnut Ridge remained unbeaten in dual meets at 4-0 after dismantling Bedford, 63-7, Saturday night in high school wrestling action.

Daulton Seace (285 pounds) won the first match, pinning his opponent in 1:28. That was followed by wins for Kai Burket (106), Caleb Holderbaum (120), Gryphon Callihan (126), Seth Harbaugh (132), Cody Brown (138) and Justin McCoy (152).

Bedford’s Nathan Gabriel (145) was a winner by 9-2 major decision, while Chance Dull (160) picked up a 9-3 decision.

Lions fall in championship

SHIKELLAMY — The Altoona Area Junior High team fell in the championship round of the Shikellamy Duals, despite producing six wrestlers with 4-0 outings.

The Mountain Lions defeated Bloomsburg (76-12), host Shikellamy (61-33) and Mifflinburg (67-31) on their path to the finals.

Line Mountain ended Altoona’s run with a 51-47 win.

Altoona’s Luke Hileman (three falls and one technical fall), Thomas Williams (four falls), Josh Keirn (four falls), Raymond Boose (three falls, one forfeit), Braden Gray (two falls and two forfeits) and Trevor Manley (two falls and two forfeits) each brought home undefeated records.
