Tyrone’s Wagner honored

Erik Wagner, a Tyrone graduate, became just the fourth Lycoming football player to reach academic All-American status.

Wagner, a team captain and tight end for the Warriors, had eight catches for 42 yards and was the team’s leading tackler on special teams. He is just the 26th player to reach academic All-American status in any sport at Lycoming.

Bellwood-Antis graduate Nathan Davis scored 26 points to lead the Seton Hill men’s basketball team to a win over Carlow. Davis is averaging 13.9 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.

Cierra O’Shell, a Glendale graduate, scored seven points and had a team-high five assists for the Penn State DuBois women’s basketball team in an 87-60 victory over Butler County Community College. The victory helped her coach, Pat Lewis, reach the career victories century mark.
