Campbell leads B-A

EVERETT — Alli Campbell scored seven points in the final two minutes of the second quarter, and then went on to score 19 second-half points en route to a 31-point day that led to Bellwood-Antis’ 68-49 win over Everett in high school girls basketball action Saturday.

Emilie Leidig added 10 points for Bellwood, which improved to 3-1. Everett, down 31-23 at halftime, got 17 points from Kaitlyn Maxwell.

Lawhead tops for Lions

CARLISLE — The Altoona boys and girls indoor track and field team competed at the Dickinson College/High School Holiday Invitational Saturday where Mitchell Lawhead and Gianna Caputo were the top competitors for the Mountain Lions.

Lawhead took second in the 200 (23.90) while Caputo was fifth in the 55 hurdles (9.24).

Finishing fourth for the Altoona boys were Tyler Delozier in the pole vault (13-0), Connor Adams in the 55 dash (6.75) and Treyvaun Toney in the 55 hurdles (8.20) Greg Williams was sixth in the 3200 (10:45.42) while Ben Tofano was seventh in the shot put (43-3¢) The 3200 relay team of Williams, Jack Hatch, Aidan Rispoli and Brayden Heninger also took seventh (9:25.17).

On the girls side, Jasmine VonColln was seventh in the long jump (15-8™)
