Stroh captures PSAC honor

Dominic Stroh, an Altoona graduate, was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference’s Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week for his efforts on the Shippensburg cross country team.

Stroh claimed the inidvidual title at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational posting an 8K time of 26:12.3.

Tyrone graduate Erik Wagner caused a fumble that led to a touchdown for the Lycoming football team in a 48-21 rout of FDU-Florham.

Cameron Norris, a Central graduate, has five tackles through four games on the Saint Vincent football team. Norris is on the kickoff, kick return and punt return teams for the Bearcats.

Altoona graduate J.P. Duffy shot a 73 for the Saint Vincent golf team to finish as the runner-up in the 50-man field of the Grove City Fall Invitational.

Courtney Link, a Bishop Carroll graduate, led all women golfers to earn medalist honors for Mount Aloysius when she shot an 86 at the Penn State Behrend Golf Invitational.

Altoona graduate Julia Nagle and Hannah Summerson advanced to the Middle Atlantic Conference No. 2 doubles semifinals as members of the Lycoming women’s tennis team.
