Alex Berardinelli played a part in all three second-half goals to help Altoona top Bedford, 3-0, in high school boys soccer Monday at Mansion Park on senior night.

Berardinelli assisted Isaac Townsend and Jarrett Schmidhamer on goals and scored one on an assist from Michael Bartley to close out the scoring.

Keeper Evan Noll recorded the shutout.

Before the match, Altoona seniors Schmidhamer, Bartley, Noll, Jarod Marasco, Shamar Casimir, Jesse Hamilton and Christian Schandelmeier were honored.

SALTSBURG — Senior Alex Diamond scored three first-half goals and propeled Cambria Heights past winless Saltsburg.

Adam Bobak added a second-half goal on a penalty kick.

Keeper Avery Farabaugh made six saves and recorded a shutout.

LOYSBURG — Bailey Foor scored five goals to lead Everett to a Sideling Hill League win over host Northern Bedford.

Luca Fierro, Brady Foor and Andrew Klotz scored the other goals for Everett, which improved to 9-1 overall. Northern Bedford dropped to 0-9 overall and 0-8 in league play.
