Johnston nets three scores in Tyrone’s win

H.S. boys soccer

ROARING SPRING — Corey Johnston struck for three goals and assisted on another to lead Tyrone past Central, 6-2, in high school boys soccer on Monday.

Andrew Pearson contributed a goal and three assists for the Golden Eagles, and Asher Christine and Jesse Daughenbaugh added goals.

The Golden Eagles improved their record in the Mountain League to 6-2-1, while Central fell to 1-8 in the league.

Tarald Mosdal and Brant Kensinger scored for Central.

Jacob Roach, Jacob Hollingshead and Seth Lowey knocked in one goal each for the Golden Tigers, who jumped out to a 5-0 lead at halftime.

Ben Feidel netted the lone goal for the Crushers.
