Berardinelli’s four goals lead Mountain Lions

H.S. boys soccer

Alex Berardinelli scored four first-half goals to lead Altoona’s 6-0 rout of Conemaugh Township in high school boys soccer on Tuesday at Mansion Park.

Jarrett Schmidhamer had a goal and two assists for the Mountain Lions, and Austin Kravetz added a second-half goal.

Jarod Marasco, Wes Young and Tyson Carter added assists.

Keepers Evan Noll and Brady Freiwald combined on the shutout for Altoona, now 2-1.
