Top ATV racers training in Bedford

BREEZEWOOD — Fifty amateur racers from across the U.S. and Canada will train with the current ATV national champion and other top pro ATV racers.

Dream Camp will be held today through Friday at the Breezewood Proving Grounds.

The best pro quad racers in the world — John Natalie from Warriors Mark, five-time national champ and current points leader Chad Wienen, Nick Moser, Dustin Wimmer, Nick Gennusa, Joe Byrd and Jeffrey Rastrelli will all provide rider training to youth and adults.

Wimmer has two national championships, and Natalie is also a national Pro Class champion.

The racers are in the midst of the 2017 points chase.

All the pros stay at the park and eat their meals in a dining hall that is adorned with signed memorabilia and photos of the pros. There are question and answer sessions, group training, as well as one-on-one track time, open riding and play time in the lake.

The Breezewood Proving Grounds Inc. park offers open riding five days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. It is closed only on Tuesday and Wednesday and has full-sized groomed tracks.
