Bellwood-Antis duo take care of Warriors

BELLWOOD — Nevin Wood and Travis Luensmann each had three hits and three RBIs to lead Bellwood-Antis to a 12-0 five-inning win over West Branch Thursday in high school baseball action.

Winning pitcher Caden Nagle worked four innings and struck out five as the team improved to 15-4.

Teammates Joey Padula, Sawyer Kline and Trent Walker also collected two hits each.

FORBES ROAD — After rallying to tie the game at four and force extra innings, Tussey Mountain got hits from McKenna Curfman, Bailey Fields, Ashley Clark, Maivie Husick and Madison Garner to pick up 9-6 win at Forbes Road in eight innings.

Fields finished with four hits and three RBIs as the Lady Titans improved to 11-8. Clark added three hits while Corrie Barnett scored two runs.
