The Altoona Area High School boys volleyball team evened its record at 3-3 with a 25-12, 25-18, 19-25, 25-16 win over Huntingdon on Monday at the Altoona Area Junior High School Fieldhouse.

Phillip Swartz led the Mountain Lions with 21 kills, 19 digs and three blocks, Dalton Keller had six kills and 16 service points, Chase Wade had 15 digs, and Masen Nartatez added 31 assists.

Matthew Sellers recorded nine kills, five digs and nine assists for Huntingdon, and Matias Berger had seven kills and seven assists.

TYRONE — The Tyrone Area High School boys tennis team fell to 1-5 with a 7-0 loss to Punxsutawney.

Holes-in-one

n Patrick Bryan recently sank a hole-in-one on No. 2 at the Immergrun Golf Club in Loretto. Bryan made the shot with a 54-degree sand wedge on the 133-yard par-3 hole. The shot was witnessed by Jeff Hogan, Tony Nicotra and Joe Wojciechowski.
