HOLLIDAYSBURG — The Hollidaysburg Area High School boys tennis team improved to 13-0 with a 9-0 shutout of Tyrone Friday.
Sammy Obeid, Jake Irwin, Nathan Ferris, Kirk Eichenlaub and Seth Lowey scored singles wins for Hollidaysburg, which also got doubles victories from the teams of David Auerbeck and Will Tyndall, Anthony Martinelli and Dom Lill, Kevin Bishop and Mason Ventura, and Derek Baum and Adrian Lorenson.

MILL HALL — Altoona swept Central Mountain, 5-0, and finished the regular season 14-2 in high school tennis.
Kyle Good, Jonah Brandt and Jarod Marasco won singles matches. On the doubles side, the teams of John Keating and Casey Rispoli won along with Trevor Palfey and Jarrett Schmidhammer.

Bearcats top Titans
HUNTINGDON — Despite losing a singles match and a doubles match, Huntingdon was able to get by Tussey Mountain, 5-2, in high school tennis.
Bruce Perow and Peter Kruse both picked up Bearcat singles wins via tiebreaker, while Soren Borgardt and Brandt Sliver both added wins for Huntingdon. The team of Perow and Borgardt added a doubles win.
Tussey Mountain had wins from Pierre Pouillet and the team of Peter Schwips and Derek Angelo.

Bishop Guilfoyle played its last home match of the season and topped Central Cambria, 5-0, in high school tennis.
Ryne Talko, Cole Rinker and Nick Schmid all picked up singles wins for the now 12-2 Marauders, while the teams of Vincent D’Andrea and Matt Unpingco, and Nick Nale and Nick Rasmussen, each had doubles wins.

AAHS relay 4th in heat
PHILADELPHIA — The Altoona Area High School boys four-by-100-meter relay team finished with the 49th best time of 242 teams in the High School Boys Large School Division in the Penn Relays.
The team of Connor Adams, Mitchell Lawhead, Kurt VonColln and Daiquain Watson finished with a time of 43.53 and was fourth in the fifth heat. Calabar of Kingston, Jamaica, had the top time overall of 39.98.
In the Altoona Teener 13-year-old League, Mitchell Kratzer had four hits and knocked in five runs to lead M&T Bank to a 14-5 victory over J&P Auto Mart in a five-inning game.
J&P Auto Mart (0-2) got two hits from Mason Burke.
n Allen Wedel struck out 11 batters through 6ª innings, and Nick Plank had three hits as McMullen Furniture defeated Cumming Motors for its first win of the season.
Evan Shale struck out nine in five innings for Cumming Motors.
