HUNTINGDON — Kierra Moist collected two hits and two RBIs as Altoona used a strong fifth inning to overcome Huntingdon, 8-7, in high school softball action on Monday.

Alissa James smacked three hits, and Montana Feathers tallied two for the Lady Lions.

Leah Reed drove in three runs for the Lady Bearcats.

HOUTZDALE — Lexi Mulhollen delivered two doubles and four RBIs and also fired a six-hitter with nine strikeouts to help Glendale move to 5-0 with a rout of Moshannon Valley.

Kristen Hewitt collected two triples, two singles and four RBIs for Glendale, Sydney Gallaher had two hits and three RBIs, Alaney Vereshack drove in three runs, and Makenzie Lukehart added two hits.

Mickey Lansberry had two of Mo Valley’s six hits.

BELLWOOD — Despite just getting two hits, Bellwood-Antis won its second straight game with a non-league victory over Cambria Heights.

Karlie Feathers knocked in two runs for the Lady Devils, Saige McElwain delivered a solo home run, and Haley Schmidt tossed a four-hitter and gave up no earned runs.

Mackenzie Woodley had two hits for Heights, and pitcher Abby Lobick gave up just two hits, one earned run and struck out eight.

SAXTON — Ashley Clark drove in four runs on a triple and a single, and Tussey Mountain evened its record by holding off visiting Chestnut Ridge despite being outhit.

Corrie Barnett and Maisie Husick each had two hits apiece for the Lady Titans.

Niki Shank led Ridge with three hits. Samantha Baney tripled, singled and drove in a run, and Makayla Weyant contributed a double, single and an RBI.
