Hallinan lifts Guilfoyle over Central Cambria

Alana Hallinan scored at the 18:40 mark of the second half to give the Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School girls soccer team a 2-1 win over Central Cambria on Thursday night at Tom Irwin Field.

Bishop Guilfoyle, now 4-0-1, got an early first-half goal from Delaney Myrick to take a 1-0 advantage.

Central Cambria (4-2) received its tying goal at the 36:40 mark of the first half from Mary Beth Woods.

The Lady Panthers also received goals from Anna Smith, Sydnee Reese and Casey Reese.

Routch scored the first three goals of the game, the first two coming on assists from McKenna Hurd.

The Lady Tigers (3-2) also received goals from Mandy Sky and Jenna Heim, while goalie Meghan Cutshall got the shutout. Hurd also assisted on Heim’s goal.
