Martin tops Park in early showdown

Trenton Creppage had two hits and drove in a run for once-beaten Martin Oil as it dealt Park Furniture its first loss, 5-2, in George B. Kelley Amateur Baseball Federation action on Tuesday at Geesey Park.

Martin took a half-game lead over Park for first place in the Cox Division by virtue of its victory.

Martin Oil scored three runs in the sixtn and added two more in the seventh, as Sawyer Kline pitched a complete game, allowed three hits and struck out nine.
