Red Flash land three recruits
AMBIALET, France – The Saint Francis University men’s basketball team has added some size to its ranks for the 2014-15 campaign, third-year coach Rob Krimmel announced Thursday from the University’s satellite campus in southwestern France.
The Red Flash, which picked up its first postseason win in 23 years in March, will not only return 100 percent of its scoring from a year ago, but will also add a trio of forwards in 6-6 Basil Thompson of Imhotep Charter in Philadelphia, 6-7 Michael Clark of St. Petersburg, Fla. and 6-8 Daniel Wallace of Suffolk, Va.
“As one of the smallest teams in Division 1 last year, our goal for this recruiting class was to improve our length and athleticism while providing depth to our front court,” said Krimmel. “I am very happy with the three young men that will be joining our program.”
“They are all great kids, from winning programs who will be valuable members of our basketball team and our campus community.”
