MARTINSBURG – Lexi Ritchey drove in three runs and was the winning pitcher, and Gabby Eberlin tripled and drove in a pair of runs as Central shut out Clearfield, 12-0, in high school softball Monday.

ARMAGH – Alyssa Walters knocked in five runs with two hits, including a home run, and Ashley Farabaugh also had four RBIs on a pair of hits, to lead Northern Cambria to a Heritage Conference rout of United.

The game was stopped after five innings because of the 10-run mercy rule.

Walters, Farabaugh, and Emily Pavelko had two hits apiece for Northern Cambria, which evened its record at 1-1. United dropped its season opener.
