Blue Devils still undefeated

MOUNT UNION – The Bellwood-Antis junior high football team stayed unbeaten and rolled up 446 yards of total offense in a win at Mount Union.

Ryen Beam scored on a 6-yard run and a 35-yard interception return for the Blue Devils (6-0), while Duke Brunner had an 11-yard TD run to go with three two-point conversions. B-A’s Ethan McGee caught a touchdown pass from Jarrett Taneyhill, and Sawyer Kline and Kammeron Green tacked on scoring runs.

SAXTON – Pat McCaulley threw two first-half touchdown passes to Andy Rhodes (17, 40 yards), as Williamsburg scored the first 20 points of the game in its win over Tussey Mountain.

Aden McMonagle added a 2-yard touchdown run for the Blue Pirates, which improved to 3-1-1.

TYRONE – Undefeated Bellefonte defeated Tyrone to drop the Golden Eagles to 2-4.

McKay Skelton hit Kenny McKarnen on an 11-yard touchdown pass for Tyrone’s only score. Jason Zucco scored on a 10-yard run in the second quarter. Tyler Krieger put the Red Raiders ahead in the fourth quarter with an 18-yard touchdown reception.
