BG?sweeps PC to stay undefeated

Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic swept past Penn Cambria, 25-8, 25-13, 25-13, to remain unbeaten at 17-0 in high school girls volleyball Thursday at the Pleasant Valley Gymnasium.

Logan McIntosh established a new school record for career digs as she registered 22 to raise her total to 1,340. The previous record (1,326) was held by Kira Boland.

Annie Dombrowski recorded 15 digs, 12 kills and 10 service points for the Lady Marauders, while Brynee Baughman accounted for 31 assists, 11 service points and 10 digs.

Penn Cambria was playing without all-state middle hitter Tori Shingler.
