Park Furniture got a solid performance from Jordan Rabits as Park beat Martin Oil, 1-0, late Wednesday night in the Kelley Federation League semifinals at Mansion Park.

Park leads the best-of-3 series, 1-0. Game 2 is tonight at 5:30 back at Mansion Park.

Rabits gave up two hits, struck out eight and walked five for the winners. Losing pitcher Casey Gray gave up an unearned run in the first in getting the loss. He gave up two hits, struck out three and walked two.

Park got its only run when Tyler Negri singled, stole second, moved to third on a groundout and scored on Martin Oil’s only error of the game.

Park advanced to the semifinals after beating D.C. Moyer, 8-7, with an incredible comeback in a playoff game on Tuesday night.

Park trailed, 7-3, in the seventh inning before getting a two-run single from Rabits, a two-run single from Josh DeGol, and then the game-winning sacrifice fly from Mason McGinnis to win it.

DeGol led the winners with three hits while Negri and Rabits added two hits each. Dylan Adams got the win with two innings of work in relief. Austin Pope had three hits for D.C. Moyer.

In tonight’s other semifinal game, ReMax Realty will play Dick’s Pharmacy, starting with the completion of a suspended game at 8, followed by a regularly-scheduled game.
