Athlete of the week achievement: Burge had an RBI triple that drove in the first run of the game in the first inning that propelled the Lady Mounties to a 3-1 win over Deer Lakes in the PIAA Class AA playoffs. She also played seven innings of error-free ball at first base.

Season update: Burge is batting .395 with 5 doubles, 2 triples, 1 homer and 22 RBIs

How I got my start in softball: “I quit soccer in third grade and signed up for a softball program.”
