Steelers sign Johnstown grad

From Mirror, wire reports

PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh?Steelers announced Friday that the team agreed to terms with former Arizona Cardinals running back LaRod Stephens-Howling, a Johnstown High School graduate, on a one-year contract.

This now gives the team a dynamic third-down back and a core special-teams player who proved himself to be a dangerous return man during his four seasons in Arizona. Stephens-Howling played collegiately at Pitt.

The Steelers remain interested in free-agent Ahmad Bradshaw, the former New York Giants running back, according to some reports.
